Every day the Salvation Army helps families in need. Among the various programs they offer, the Christmas Angel Program is one that tries to fulfill the needs of children during the holiday season. The Christmas Angel Program offers a way for children to have a joyful holiday by ensuring that there are gifts under the tree.
But they can't do this alone and so with this in mind the Auxiliary Services department has requested to have 75 "angels" come our way. There is no gesture more needed or appreciated than your simple gift of giving. The knowledge that you touched a child's life and made him or her happy is rewarding in itself. Imagine, something as a small toy or as commonplace as clothes making such a difference.
We would like to extend an invitation for you to join us in this effort by sponsoring one of our angels. Won't you join us? We guarantee that you'll enjoy the experience.
Angel tags will be distributed this week. The schedule for distribution is as follows:

November 17, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus Bookstore

November 18, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Rockville Campus Bookstore

November 19, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Germantown Campus Bookstore
