The newly formed Montgomery College Aerospace Engineering Club gave a presentation at the engineering department meeting on Thursday, November 19. The presentation covered their project to design an unmanned aerial vehicle and a wind tunnel to measure the lift and drag on the aerofoil.
The mission of the Aerospace Club/Student Chapter of AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) is to convene students to obtain greater understanding of Aerospace Engineering and to discuss Aerospace/Aeronautic related topics. The goal of the club is to provide opportunities for students at Montgomery College to become part of the Aerospace Engineering Community by distributing knowledge about the profession and providing educational seminars related to the Aerospace industries. The Aerospace Club is the students' voice and as such serves to promote and advance the arts, sciences, and technology of aeronautics and astronautics fields in engineering.
