The 2010 MC Softball Season starts Saturday, March 13 with a home game against visiting Bergen Community College.

The Bergen Bulldogs, from Paramus, NJ, are a Region 19 Division III Team and they open their season Friday against Harford Community College.

MC's pitchers, Jennifer Hance, Kathy Holonich, and Lorreen Serls, will lead the way in the double header scheduled with the first game starting at noon.

"We have strong pitching and an experienced team this year that is eager to get started and is looking forward to this season," says Coach Jerry Watkins. "We hope to capitalize on smart pitching to hold the Bulldogs to as few runs as possible and our big bats and speed to score early and score often."

MC's starters include Brittani Tredeau at first base, and Jackie Winning at third base. Both players were 2009 High School All-Gazette Team Players, Tredeau from Seneca Valley High School and Winning from Poolesville High School.

All home games for the Lady Knights are played at the Rockville Campus Softball Complex. MC Softball includes players from all MC Campuses. A complete schedule is attached. Check the Web site for up-to-date game times and for any changes.
