The Germantown Campus counselors will be attending a course entitled "Mental Health First Aid" on February 10 and 11, sponsored by the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County and MC's Center for Professional & Organizational Development.

As a result, the Counseling & Advising Center and the Center for International and Multicultural Students at the Germantown Campus will be closed for those two business days.

The skills from this training will assist counselors in their work with students who are referred through the College's B.I.T. (Behavioral Intervention Team) process. The Rockville and Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus counselors will be attending this training later in the semester.
