On Tuesday, October 11, from 10-11 a.m., in the Cafritz Arts Center room 143, Takoma Park/Silver Spring, three noted scholars will discuss West African Muslim contributions to the United States. The three scholars, Dr. Erin Eugis, Dr. Ousseina Alidou, and Dr. Falou Ngom, will discuss the roles of women in West African Islam and the influences of African literary traditions.

Free and open to the public.
