This Spring's credit students continue the recent trends toward being more "part-time," more "minority," more "online," more "multi-campus," and, just "more."
Student headcount for spring 2012 is 25,513* - an increase of 548 students from last spring.
Enrollment is up over last spring by more than 500 students (2.2%) and hours of enrollment are up by 1.3%. Each campus increased its enrollment from last spring, and nonwhite/multi-race students comprise two-thirds (67.7%) of the student body, and nearly one-in-five (17.4%) took at least one totally online distance course. Of the students who took on-campus courses, nearly 12% attended more than one campus.
* Please note that this figure is an updated enrollment statistic and it is different from what was published in the student enrollment print narrative. 25,513 is the correct spring 2012 student headcount.
