Annual Poetry Award Is Soliciting Original Poems in English and Spanish: Deadline April 1

The annual Ventura Valdez Poetry Contest is underway and is soliciting original poetry by current and/or past MC students who write in English and/or Spanish.

There are two separate awards of $100 for the best poem in English and Spanish which are read and selected anonymously by a committee of faculty. The deadline for submitting work which must be accompanied with a signed entry form (see the attachment) is April 1st. Winners receive their prize and certificates at the Takoma Park Award Ceremony.
