In weekend action, in the first round of the Regional playoffs, MC-Takoma Park lost to Anne Arundel, 85-64. Also in the first round of Regional playoffs, MC-Rockville's men beat MC-Germantown to move on to the semifinals to play Prince Georges Community College (PGCC). In the semifinals on Saturday, the Knights fought hard against PGCC throughout the game, but fell short in an 84-73 loss. This marks the final game of a good season that had many highlights for all three men's basketball teams.
