The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice will be presenting student work in their 2012 Annual Poster Session. The poster session will begin on Tuesday, April 3 and close on Friday, April 6. Please come and meet the student writers and artists at the poster session reception on Wednesday, April 4 from 12:30-4 p.m. in Humanities 224.
This event is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the Department and Digital Illustration students of Professor Martha Vaughan of the Communication Arts Technologies Department.
Art students create original illustrations based upon their reading of social science papers. It is always exciting for students and faculty to see how the artist visually interprets the written work!
Some of this year's titles include: Brands of Brilliance: A Symbolic Interactionist Perspective of Genius, A Closer Look at the Mexican Jaripeo, and McDonaldization: Would You Like Some Fries with That?
