Sponsored by the Center for Teaching and Learning a "Helping International Students Succeed" workshop will focus on the awareness of our international student population regarding their cultural references, knowledge, and capabilities in acquiring a college education.

Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to identify characteristics of MC's international student population and to list resources for international students at MC, online, and in the local community. You will also be given tools for revising research assignments based on awareness of international students' capabilities, cultural references, knowledge, and limitations.

"Helping International Students Succeed" will meet on Wednesday, November 28 at the Germantown Campus in the Goldenrod Building, Room 105. International Student Counselors Ada Garcia-Casellas and Heidi Russell-Kalkofen and Germantown Librarian Diane Cockrell with facilitate the program. Registration is available through the Professional Development System.
