Why and how are community colleges critical to meeting the goal that at least 55 percent of Americans hold a high quality post-secondary credential by the year 2025? Join your colleagues for the presentation and facilitated discussion: "African American Men and the National Completion Agenda" to understand how to engage Black men on campus and to better understand the importance of devoting attention to the academic attainment of Black men as a student subgroup in order to reach the national completion benchmarks. Become better informed about the National Completion Agenda and benchmarks set by the federal government and education focused philanthropies.

By attending this workshop you will understand and discuss the role of community colleges and Montgomery College in contributing to the national graduation and completion benchmarks. Sponsored by the Center for Teaching and Learning, the workshop will meet at the Rockville Campus on Monday, December 3 from 2-4 p.m. in the Campus Center Building, Room CC 015. Facilitated by RADalyst principals Dr. Alissa D. Gardenhire and Mr. Kendrick T. Roundtree.
