The 2014 One Maryland One Book author Reyna Grande will be visiting the Germantown Campus on Wednesday, October 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to discuss her book The Distance Between Us. This event is cosponsored by the MCPS School Library Media Programs, Frank Islam Athenaeum Symposia Series, Paul Peck Humanities Institute, Montgomery College Libraries, and MC Books & More. The discussion will take place in Globe Hall in the HIgh Technology and Science Center. It will be followed by a reception from noon to 1 p.m. in the Upper Atrium outside of HT 216. The book will be available for purchase at the reception and the author will be available to sign them as well. This event is open to the public and is free.
