Eight Montgomery College nursing students in their fourth semester worked in a very special setting this summer gaining clinical experience and a lifetime of memories. Youth Haven Camp is a week-long, sleep away camp for kids ages 7 to 14 who are either living with or otherwise affected by HIV; the nursing students helped administer medication and teach campers about health issues like poison ivy, sunburn and ticks.
