Montgomery College and NBC4 will present the "Changing Minds Community Forum," a discussion on the mental health and wellness of youth and adolescents. The event takes place in Theatre 2 of the Cultural Arts Center on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. A panel of experts, including mental health providers and educators, will address, engage and interact with the audience.

Please ask your colleagues and our MC students to join us for this important discussion.

<b>Changing Minds Community Forum

Location: Theatre 2, Cultural Arts Center, Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus </b>

The forum discussion will include:
- Substance abuse risks
- Early warning signs of mental illness
- Peer support
- Stress of school
- Suicide, depression
- How to talk about healthy wellness, what can families do for youth
- What can schools do, children do for themselves and their friends
- How do we keep young people safe and mentally healthy
