Raptors Women's Soccer Breaks Through With 6-1 Victory Over Cecil

The Montgomery College women's soccer team played against Cecil College on October 5. During the game, Raptors sophomore Ana Cordon scored MC's first goal in the opening minutes of the match. Raptors sophomore Katelynn Snyder got into the books scoring her first goal of the season in the 16th minute. MC freshman Claire Ramirez-de-Arellano sophomore Jewell Johnson both scored two goals in the match. The Raptor's women's soccer team won 6-1.

On October 6, the Raptors took on Fairmont State University. The Raptors kept it close through most of the game, but lost 4-1. The Raptors lone goal was scored by freshman Taryn Melencio. The women's soccer team is 3-6-0 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
