Book Drive for Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services - Donations Requested

Criminal justice and sociology faculty members are accepting book donations for placement in state correctional facilities through the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.

The following items are requested:
<li> Reference Material no older than two years </li>
<li> Current non-fiction (psychology, self help, self improvement, relationships, starting a business, career, GED books, trade books (landscaping etc), grant writing, and health </li>
<li> Any items on New York Times and Washington Post bestseller lists</li>
<li> Popular authors (Grisham, Patterson, King,Walker, etc.)</li>
<li> Mysteries, horror, and romance </li>
</ul> Please bring donations to Suite 224 in the Humanities Building on the Rockville Campus by November 1, 2014. The attached flyer provides additional details regarding acceptable donation materials.
