Rough Start for the Raptors Men's Basketball Team

The Montgomery College men's basketball team has started off slow but is quickly picking up steam. On Monday, November 11 the Raptors played Allegany College of MD at the Rockville Campus. The men's team started off strong but trailed Allegany College of MD by 10 points going into halftime. The Raptors closed the gap by going on a 12-7 run out to start the second half. With three minutes left in the game, MC trailed by 6 points and couldn't close the deficit, Allegany won 77-71. Freshman Devin Shuler scored a game-high 26 points.

On Monday, November 17 the Raptors NJCAA DII Delaware Tech Community College, 86-62. Two days later, MC played CCAC Allegheny. MC freshman Joseph Serrano, scored a game-high 20 points, shooting 7 for 8 from the free throw line to lead the Raptors to a 62-52 victory.

On Saturday, November 22 Montgomery College played Chesapeake College. Freshmen Teivon Johnson scored a team-high 23 points and Shuler added 22 points. The Raptors lost to Chesapeake, 92-78.
