Raptors Women's Basketball Is 5-3 Going Into the Thanksgiving Break

The Montgomery College Women's basketball team has been on point since the tip-off tournament on November 8-9. On November 11, the Raptors beat Allegany College of MD, 103-41.

On Saturday, November 15 the Raptors played Rowan College of Gloucester County. Raptors sophomore Kiana Daley scored a team-high 16 points and sophomore JerBria Smith added 13 points to lead the Raptors to a 74-46 victory over the Roadrunners.

On Monday, November 17 MC played Delaware Tech Community College. Raptors sophomore, Kiana Daley, scored a game high 21 points and Jalyn Watson, Jerbria Smith, Fahirah Crews, and Hillavei Mensah all scored double digit points to help the Raptors cruise to an 83-58 win over Delaware Tech CC. (three-game winning streak)

On Saturday, November 22 MC played Chesapeake College. Sophomore Latasha Gross scored a team-high 20 points and Jerbria Smith added 14 points. The Raptors lost to Chesapeake, one of the best teams in the nation, 88-51. The team is 5-3 going into the break.
