The Transfer Academic Excellence Scholarship (TAES) at the University of Maryland, College Park is a prestigious and highly competitive scholarship that awards full or partial tuition for four consecutive semesters to exceptionally talented transfer students.

Students applying for the Fall 2015 semester can now complete the TAES application as part of their transfer application to the university.

Deadline to apply: March 1, 2015

Criteria to Apply for this Scholarship:<ul><li>Maryland Resident</li>
<li>U.S. Citizen or permanent resident</li>
<li>56 credits or associate's degree</li>
<li>Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA</li>
<li>30 most recent credits (credit hours can be in progress) earned from a Maryland community college at the time of application submission</li>
<li>New applicants to the University of Maryland for Fall or newly enrolled University of Maryland Spring-admitted student</li></ul>
