Storyteller Ellouise Schoettler will give a one-woman performance celebrating the lives of U.S. women telephone operators who contributed to Allied victories in World War I. Known as the "Hello Girls," these women served within the U.S. Army Signal Corps to facilitate communication on the Western Front.

Schoettler will bring her show, which she performed at the DC Capital Fringe last summer, to Humanities Building Room 009 on the Rockville Campus at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3. This event is sponsored by the Department of History and Political Science, the Paul Peck Humanities Institute, and the Women and Gender Studies Program in commemoration of Women's History Month.
