"Repurposing The Narrative" - A New Art Exhibit in the King Street Gallery Featuring Artists Joe Meiser and Anthony Cervino

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts invite you to the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus to view <i>Repurposing the Narrative</i> by artists Joe Meiser and Anthony Cervino in the King Street Gallery.

This exhibit features new work, including digital prints, sculpture, and video, by Pennsylvania based artists Anthony Cervino and Joe Meiser. Both artists reframe recognizable narrative elements such as historical people and events, found objects, symbols, or artistic formats, into artworks that suggest new narrative possibilities.

King Street Gallery

Exhibition Dates: February 5 - March 13, 2015

Regular Gallery Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Location: The King Street Gallery is on the ground floor of The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center on the west side of the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. The arts center is located off Georgia Avenue at 930 King Street. Parking is available in the West Campus Garage, which is immediately behind the center. Additional parking is available in the East Campus Garage on Fenton Street with pedestrian access by a bridge and walking path.
