College's Ombuds Selected to Participate in Fellows Program

The Montgomery College ombuds, Sarah Miller Espinosa, has been selected to participate in the 2015 American Arbitration Association (AAA) Higginbotham Fellows program. Thirteen emerging alternative dispute resolution professionals in the United States will participate in the 2015 program. The fellows "immerse themselves in all aspects of alternative dispute resolution" through training, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The Montgomery College Office of the Ombuds provides services to College employees by assisting visitors in identifying and evaluating options available to resolve/mitigate workplace concerns. The ombuds operates in accordance with the code of ethics of the International Ombudsman Association and is a confidential, impartial, independent, and informal resource.
