Have you heard about National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)? Every year, participants register at NaNoWriMo.org with one goal: write a 50,000 word novel in November.
The Montgomery College (Germantown) Writing, Reading, and Language Center is an official "Come Write In" venue for NaNoWriMo. You are welcome to write your novel in our computer lab or sitting area at any time. Additionally, you are invited to these special events:
- Information and Pre-Writing Workshops: September 28 (5 - 6 p.m.), October 12 (5 - 6 p.m.), and October 29 (11 a.m. - 12 noon)
- Official "Write-Ins": every Monday (5 - 6:30 p.m.) and Thursday (11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) during November, except Thanksgiving
NaNoWriMo events are open to all students, staff, and faculty. Everyone is welcome!
