Natural Causes opens tonight and runs for two weeks. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The show is in the Cultural Arts Center on the Takoma Park/Silver Campus. Tickets are $10 for general admission; $5 for students. Visit:

Celia Bryce has spent her adulthood in depression and looks forward to crossing over to the other side. She usually drags her husband, Walter, along with her wherever she goes. With the urging of his young attractive secretary, Angie, Walter engages Vincent, an agent of Exodus, an assisted suicide concern, to help Celia realize her fondest hope. Along with the intrusion of Withers, a hapless Samaritan who is poorly suited to his work of suicide prevention, Natural Causes is a clever dark comedy full of mistaken identity and accidental poisonings and pokes fun at death, suicide, class distinction and marriage that will provide you with a jolly good time. And then there's the poor rubber tree plant...
