When you think of a student starting college, do you picture an 18-year-old fresh out of high school headed away from home for the first time? Research from the Department of Education suggests that the majority of college students, including MC alumna, Carey Dwyer, follow a very different path. You can learn more about Dwyer and other "non-traditional" students in this piece from Voice of America.*

*If you listen to the audio, it will sound a bit slow! The piece was published by VOA's Learning English division. Listeners are people around the world learning English so the pace is slower (and the vocabulary simpler).
