Montgomery College is hosting the Maryland Male Student of Color Summit on March 3 on the Germantown Campus. A full day of activities, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is planned with workshops and speakers including journalist Jeff Johnson, and author teacher and thought leader Dr. LaMarr D. Shields. See flyer attached.
Persons interested in attending may register for the full summit or opt to attend the opening and/or closing plenaries only. For more information and to register, visit MMSOC Summit. If you know of students who are interested in attending, you may coordinate the effort and contact the office of the senior vice president for student affairs at x4344.
In addition, there is a very special Montgomery College Student Roundtable Discussion Session scheduled and we highly encourage student participation - to pre-register students and/or volunteer for the MC Student Round Table Discussion, click on MC Student Roundtable Discussion Session pre-registration.
This exciting event is being planned by the MD Community College Chief Student Affairs Officers, and hosted and coordinated by Montgomery College.
