Middle States Listening Tours for Spring - Share Feedback on Rough Drafts

After spending the Fall 2016 doing research and collecting information from the College community, the Middle States team has completed its first rough drafts of the chapters on the seven Standards for the Self-Study document. We would like to invite the College community to share their input on these rough drafts in our listening tours for spring 2017. <i>Please see the document attached for times, dates and locations.</i>

During this series of 90-minute workshops, participants will review and share input for the revision of the first draft chapters of the Middle States report. One activity will ask participants to work in small groups to respond to direct questions from the work groups, with a focus on content and the drafts' recommendations. A second activity will provide participants with the opportunity for broader discussion and general feedback.

These workshops will require participants to review two 10 - 14 page drafts in advance of the session in order to provide the workgroups with meaningful feedback. Participants must register at least two days in advance of the session; sessions with fewer than 3 registrants will be cancelled.

These sessions are open to staff, faculty, administrators, and students. Everyone is encouraged to attend at least one session for each Standard pairing:

Standards I & II Sessions: Mission & Vision (Standard I), Ethics & Integrity (Standard II)

Standards III & V Sessions: Design & Delivery of the Student Learning Experience (Standard III) and Educational Effectiveness Assessment (Standard V)

Standard IV Session: Support of the Student Learning Experience (Standard IV)

Standard VI & VII Sessions: Planning, Resources, and Institutional Improvement (Standard VI) and Governance, Leadership, and Administration
