How do we create a sense of community in Montgomery County? How are immigrants contributing to the vibrant transformation taking place in Montgomery County? On May 16, the Lifelong Learning Institute will present two insightful speakers will present on these issues and more. Steve Roberts, award-winning journalist and author, will focus on the immigrant experience from multiple perspectives and explore the vibrant and dynamic transformation underway Lily Qi, assistant chief administrative officer for economic and workforce development for Montgomery County, will explore the cultural, economic, and political dynamics of new Americans in Montgomery County.
