Ongoing struggles for trans rights and recent changes in the political landscape have raised controversies over transgender inclusion, particularly issues related to restrooms and gender-specific spaces. Mx. Nic Sakurai, a nonbinary and trans advocate and educator will join us for a session on recent developments for trans inclusion on college campuses today, April 17 from 2 to 3 p.m. on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus in CM 211.
