The Offices of the Vice President and Provost, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Rockville campus, are hosting a Veteran's Day event: What Makes a Hero?

The event includes a short film and a panel discussion on the military experience and veterans' feelings associated with their service.

A panel of veterans will share their views on the culturally complex issues of what it means to be called a hero, to be thanked for their service, and to be asked to discuss their military service.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This event meets the FY18 multicultural requirement for employees.

Please join us on November 9, 2017 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM in Science Center 152, Rockville campus, to explore the veteran's experience in honor of Veteran's Day.
