Quilters from all over the United States and as far away as Australia celebrate our nation's 44th president in an exhibition called "President Obama: A Celebration in Art Quilts." The display will run through March 5 at The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center at Montgomery College's Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus.

On Friday, February 13, over 20 quilters kicked off the exhibit with an opening reception. To view photos from the event, please click this link:

The exhibit is located in the gallery located on the ground floor of The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Arts Center, which is on the west side of Montgomery College's Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. Visitors are encouraged to park in the College's East Campus Parking Garage on Fenton Street and take the pedestrian bridge and path to the arts center.
