Learn the most relevant and current Event Management competencies, principles, and practices!

<b>Event Management Continuing Education Certificate (EMC) and Internship Program (EMIC)</b>

Propel yourself into the event economy with Montgomery College's Hospitality Program's Event Management Continuing Education Certificate (EMC) and Event Management Internship Program (EMIP). EMC students will learn competencies in the domains such as strategic planning, risk and site management, and also examine events from multiple genres including, viral, arts, conference, entertainment, social, and green events. EMIC participants will intern
with a select college partner in one genre such as arts, conferences and forums, or international culture.

The EMC, other industry credential or commensurate experience is required to participate in the EMIP. Students may take event management courses as desired and not for the certificate. For more information, please join us for our Explore Event Management Information Session, or visit our website. We also provide group training at contracted rates for employers and organizations. Our faculty are industry experts, experienced in adult education and have a passion for teaching you!
