The next candidate for the Dean for the Visual, Performing, and Media Arts position will be on the Rockville Campus tomorrow, Wednesday, December 6 in Science West, room 301 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. for an open forum.

Jon Esser currently serves as the Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Previously, he served as the Director of the School of the Arts Facilities for Purchase College, State University of New York. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Purchase College, State University of New York, and a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Brooklyn College, City University of New York. For those unable to make it to the Rockville Campus at the designated time, both Germantown and Takoma Park/Silver Spring campuses will stream the session:

* Germantown Campus: High Technology and Science Center, room 216
* Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus: Catherine F. Scott Commons, room 211

Feedback forms will be provided at all three locations, and must be turned in before leaving the room. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to hear from the candidates.

Candidate #5 will be in Science West, room 301, on the Rockville Campus on December 11th at 10 a.m.; streaming in the High Technology and Science Center, room 216, and the Cultural Arts Center, room 208.
