The 2017 MC-Smithsonian Faculty Fellows have just completed their year of exploration in the world of museum-based learning. Ten faculty, from a variety of disciplines and from across the college, will present their projects during the Smithsonian Showcase to be held at the Rockville Campus on Thursday, February 22, 2018. The event runs continuously from 2-6 p.m. in the Science Center, Room 152.

Please make plans to join us as your colleagues share reports on the creative, integrative work they have done with Montgomery College students this past year. The 2017 theme was, "Social Justice: America's Unfinished Legacy of Struggle, Sacrifice and Strife". The projects and assignments the Fellows developed around this theme are both intriguing and compelling.

The 2017 Fellows include: Joanne Bagshaw (Psychology, GT), Gary Coley (Communications, GT), Tiffany Copeland (TV/Radio Production/RV), Sean Fay (Criminal Justice, GT), Ethan Goffman (English, RV), Serena Gould (ELAP, TPSS), Sarah Jorgensen (Art, RV), Jessica McLaughlin (Psychology, RV), Michelle Moran (History, RV), Rachel Saidi (Math, RV).

This is an open house style event, and you are welcome to enter or leave at the end of nay presentation. MCTV will be there to videotape the presentations. Please come join us for fun, potluck fare and an intellectually satisfying afternoon.
