The Quality Matters program, an internationally recognized rubric and system of assessing the quality of online courses, continues to be important to Montgomery College online faculty. A number of courses have been recognized this academic year. Dean Kathy Michaelian had her CMAP 120 site certified for 5 years, having met standards on the first pass. The following instructors had their courses recertified for the next three years: Linda Hughes, SONO 105 and SONO 205; Linda Zanin, SONO 224; Matt Theis, SONO 246 and SONO 256; Sharon Petrillo, STSU 100; Nader Chabaan, COMM 108. We applaud these faculty and thank them for what they are doing for their students.
