Pre-Transfer Advisors from UMD, UMBC, USG and UB will be on campus this spring to meet with students interested in transferring. Representatives will be on each campus monthly.

<b> UMBC at Shady Grove </b>
To learn how coursework will likely transfer into UMBC-Shady Grove's Undergraduate Programs -- History, Political Science, Psychology, Translational Life Sciences Technology and Social Work -- please contact Abigail Granger, Coordinator via to schedule a 30-minute individualized pre-transfer advising appointment on noted visit dates. The TLST program will be offered at MC Germantown beginning in the Fall 2018 prior to being offered at USG upon completion of their new Science Bldg.

<b> University of Baltimore </b>
University of Baltimore looks forward to meeting with students during Pre-Transfer Advising Hours. During pre-transfer advising hours students will be able to:
*apply and receive an admission decision
*get information about the Wilson Presidential Scholarship that covers 100% of in-state tuition for new UB transfer students seeking their first bachelor's degree with at least 60 credits with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
*learn if they qualify for a transfer merit scholarship of up to $3,000 for up to 3 years
*discuss transferring up to 63 credits

<b> University of Maryland College Park </b>
Tyler McClenithan, a pre-transfer advisor from the University of Maryland College Park, is available to provide insight into the admissions processes, major/career exploration, overview of limited enrollment program requirements where applicable, unofficial transfer credit evaluations, develop graduation plans that include MC and UMD requirements, and referrals to other on-campus resources as necessary. To schedule an appointment, please obtain a referral through Starfish from an MC advisor. This will provide access to Tyler's calendar and the ability to book an appointment that works with your schedule. Walk-in advising is available, but not preferred.

<b> UMBC Engineering and Information Technology </b>
Students interested in transferring to one of the majors in Engineering and Information Technology at UMBC's main campus should schedule an appointment with Ashley Luster, Transfer Success Advisor. She can work with students in Business Technology Administration, Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems. To schedule an appointment, email her at
