Professor Harry St. Ours of the Media Arts and Technologies department has been invited to present his paper, "Self-Publish Your Own Open Educational Resource and Empower Your Classroom," at the SITE 2018 (Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education) conference to be held in Washington, D.C., March 26-30, 2018.

Prof. St.Ours' paper presents the findings of his sabbatical leave project, which include a 600-page PDF open educational resource (OER), a multi-touch electronic book offered for free on the iBooks Store, a bespoke full-featured Website and an iTunes U MOOC (massive open online course) supported by Apple, Inc. and now serving over 7300 enrolled students. This material was created last semester in support of the Gen Ed course he teaches on the Rockville Campus, ARTT/GDES116 Digital Tools for the Visual Arts.
