Hospitality Management Professor Janet Saros was inducted as an Honorary Member into the Eta Sigma Delta (ESD) International Hospitality Management honor society at the University of Eastern Shore Shady Grove Campus on February 21st.

Recognized for dedicating her career to her students and their success, Professor Saros was cited for upholding the ESD Five Points of Honor for over 30 years. The Five Points of Honor are: Leadership, Excellence, Service, Creativity, and, Ethics.

Anne Gunsteens, Executive Director of the Marriott Family Foundation, was the keynote speaker at the induction ceremony. Anastasia Shiakela, MC alumni and current UMES ESD President lead the induction ceremony. Congratulations Professor Saros!
