The Montgomery College baseball season is underway as the team won three out of five games in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Raptors won their first two games of the trip on Friday, March 2 defeating Suffolk Community College 6-5 in the morning and then taking down Manchester University JV 13-5 in the afternoon. On the morning of March 3 MC had a tough bill against Olney Central, a team that won +40 games last season, as the Raptors held their own in the early innings but fell to the club from Olney, IL 10-1. MC quickly bounced back in the afternoon game as they took down Penn State DuBois 4-2. The Raptors finished up their trip against the Kankakee Community College Cavaliers, the reigning DII World Series Champions, where they lost 10-0.

The Raptors next five games are at home as they host Hood College JV at 3 p.m. for their home opener on Wednesday, March 7. The Raptors end the week with a doubleheader on Friday, March 9 against CCAC-Boyce starting at 12 p.m. and another doubleheader on Saturday, March 10 against CCBC Essex stating at 12 p.m.
