Every summer, Montgomery College offers a bridge experience for new students to the College, the FYE Summer Bridge Program. The Summer Bridge Program is offered on all three campuses for both summer sessions. The Program includes a one-credit course (First-Year Seminar: STSU 100) that allows students to experience the college environment prior to the fall term. Data shows that students who attend a summer bridge program achieve higher grade point averages, higher retention rates and experience higher graduation rates than students who do not attend such programs. Students gain so much through this experience. Space is limited. Scholarships may be available. The Enrollment Checklist in the Summer Bridge Program brochure must be followed in order to register for STSU 100, the First-Year Seminar. Details can be found on the FYE website at http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/counseling-and-advising/first-year-experience/index.html

For questions, contact Angela Dawson, FYE College-wide Program Coordinator, at 240-567-1779 or angela.dawson@montgomerycollege.edu
