The Smithsonian Institution and Montgomery College cordially invite you to a reception to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the Montgomery College - Smithsonian Faculty Fellowship Program, a partnership between the Smithsonian Center for Learning and Digital Access (SCLDA) and the Paul Peck Humanities Institute at Montgomery College.

The celebration reception is at the Smithsonian Institution Castle Building, 1000 Jefferson Drive, S.W., Washington, D.C. on Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 3-5 p.m. All members of the College community are invited. Parking is very difficult in this area. We recommend you consider public transportation (Metro: Smithsonian stop).

The reception recognizes the accomplishments of the 2017 cohort and officially welcomes the 2018 cohort to the Smithsonian Faculty Fellowship Program. The 2017 cohort's report, "Social Justice: America's Unfinished Story of Struggle, Strife, and Sacrifice," will be released at the reception.

RSVP REQUIRED. Contact Philippa Rappoport, community engagement programs manager, Smithsonian Center for Learning and Digital Access, rappoph@si.edu or telephone 202-633-5299.
