The Academic Calendar Committee invites the entire MC community to review and respond to the proposed academic calendar for the 2019-2020 year at

Because of a very early Labor Day (Sept. 2) as well as a contractual limit of 195 work days, fall M-F classes are proposed to begin on Tuesday, September 3, and weekend classes on Saturday, September 7. The proposed calendar includes an additional holiday on Monday, December 23. Extended winter session and the 3-week winter session will continue through the spring professional week and end on January 24 to allow sufficient instructional time. Spring semester M-F classes are proposed to begin Monday, January 27, and weekend classes on Saturday, February 1. The academic year is scheduled to end on Friday, May 22.
