It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Joseph Emilio Bartolomeo, father of Dr. Jamin Bartolomeo, Collegewide Dean of Student Access and Germantown Student Affairs. Mr. Bartolomeo passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 in Hagerstown, Maryland. Joseph was the beloved husband of Marie Bartolomeo and is survived by his sons, Jason and Jamin Bartolomeo; stepson, Steven Bostwick; stepdaughters, Jennifer Queen (Jason) and Amy Seeders (Eric); brother, Nick Bartolomeo (Jane); sister, Christina Andreano; and grandchildren, Isabelle Bartolomeo, Dominic Bartolomeo, Nico Bartolomeo, Bella Queen, Erica Seeders, Aubrey Seeders, Sophia Seeders, and Jasper Landis.

Mr. Bartolomeo was an alumnus of Montgomery College. He later earned his bachelors degree from Frostburg State University and his master's from American University.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Bartolomeo's memory to the the Frederick County Humane Society (
