Join Mission Partners, Montgomery College, The Greater Washington Community Foundation and Bethesda Magazine for Mission Forward: Narrative Change. Community members, students, entrepreneurs, and mission-driven leaders will gather at AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center for a community meal, followed by guided conversations designed to expand how we see each other and our knowledge of the issues we work to advance. Hear from often unheard voices, who will present their own stories, in their own words.

This November's community lunch and program, scheduled for November 16, from 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. will feature conversations with journalist Valeria Fernandez, who brings to life stories on the American experience from the borderlands, and author Anand Giridharadas, whose new book "Winners Take All" challenges us to consider whether we are inadvertently perpetuating the social problems we seek to solve.

Lunch and a copy of Winners Take All is included with ticket for all participants. To learn more and reserve tickets, visit
