The Montgomery College Tip-off Basketball Tournament is Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11 on the Rockville Campus in the main gym. The MC Raptors men's and women's basketball teams look to pick up where they left off last year and set the tone for their upcoming season.

The men's basketball team is coming off 26-9 season and won the NJCAA Region XX DIII Title and the NJCAA District VII Title and made a National Tournament appearance finishing 5th in the country. The women's basketball team is coming off 22-7 season and won the NJCAA Region XX DIII Title and the NJCAA District G Title and also made a National Tournament appearance finishing 5th in the country.

Head Coach Tarlouh Gasque and the Raptors women's basketball team welcome Columbus State CC from Columbus, Ohio for their first home game of the new season on Saturday at 5 p.m.
Head Coach Keith Byrd and the Raptors men's team will play Columbus State CC at 7 p.m. on Saturday night for their first home contest of the year. Come out and watch the MC Raptors basketball teams November 10th and 11th as both teams are geared up and ready for an exciting season.

Saturday's Games:
11/10 at 1pm - Women's Game: Frederick CC vs Monroe College
11/10 at 3pm - Men's Game: Frederick CC vs Monroe College
11/10 at 5pm - Women's Game: Montgomery College vs Columbus State CC
11/10 at 7pm - Men's Game: Montgomery College vs Columbus State CC

Sunday's Games:
11/11 at 11am - Women's Game: Columbus State CC vs Frederick CC
11/11 at 1pm - Men's Game: Columbus State CC vs Frederick CC
11/11 at 3pm - Women's Game: Montgomery College vs Monroe College
11/11 at 5pm - Men's Game: Montgomery College vs Monroe College

The tournament will take place at the Rockville Campus in the PE Building main gym. There is a $5 Admission fee for all basketball games. Children under the age of 12 are free.
