Panelists: Dr. Mohibullah Durrani, Professor Emily Rosado & Professor Carrie Shaw

This event will feature a series of panels whose panelists will offer strategies to help create an inclusive classroom for specific student demographics. The panelists will also speak to how creating an inclusive environment affects student outcomes.

The specific student demographics that will be discussed are: Muslim students, Female students & students whose first language is not English.

Please note:
* Participants must attend the entire workshop to get professional development credit.
* This workshop meets the multiculturalism/diversity requirement.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Demonstrate knowledge of how to create an inclusive classroom for at least two student demographics.
Articulate how creating an inclusive environment affects student performance.

1. Login to your My MC and click on "Training and Professional Development."
2. Click "MC Learns" and "Schedule of Classes and Events" and "Pedagogy and Instruction."
3. Scroll through, find your workshop and click "Enroll" at the top right corner of the page.
