"On Friday, there was food, music and fun spread out across each Montgomery College Campus, all in the name of celebrating democracy.

More than 1,000 students arrived for the schools' first ever "Party at the Polls" event.

The celebration included a voter education kiosk and several party buses. Over the course of the day, those buses took nearly 200 students to and from a nearby polling center. For many of these young people, the party helped highlight their first time ever taking part in an election."
