Closing of Rockville Campus Counseling and Advising Building (CB)

The Rockville Campus Counseling & Advising Building will be closed to the public effective Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. All departments previously located in the building have been relocated.

The Counseling Department will be closed December 12 - 14, 2018 to complete their move. The Counseling Department will resume operations on Monday, December 17, 2018 in the Mannakee Building (MK), Suite #220.

Once the Rockville Campus Student Services Building opens in 2020, the displaced Student Affairs departments will move to their permanent locations in the Student Services building.

The attached memorandum provides specific details on each office's new location.

What are the future plans for the building? Understandably, the water issues weren't planned for or even expected and probably never would have presented themselves if not for the historical amount of rain we've had this year.

It's a shame to see a relatively (I assume) sound structure razed to the ground due to some 100 year event. But then, being from Iowa, we had three 100 year events in the span of less than 10 years in the 90's.
