Each semester faculty report that reaching ALL students can be difficult. Students with defined and undefined special needs and classroom
behaviors can provide an opportunity to consider new strategies to
enhance teaching and encourage a positive classroom environment.

In this hands-on session, participants will:
*Identify specific student classroom behaviors that are challenging
*Identify contributors to challenging behaviors
*Practice research-based strategies to address challenging behaviors
*Content-design and delivery
*Classroom arrangement
*Classroom policies
*Cueing students with behavioral challenges
*Discuss characteristics of positive learning environments
*Complete activities that reinforce their ability to respond to challenging student behaviors
