Do you know what to say when a student reveals anxiety or depression? What are the signs to watch for? What should you do if a student has a panic attack? How does it affect their academic life?

Mental health issues for college students are on the rise. This panel conversation will help you understand how to help your students and connect them with resources on and off campus.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to
Discuss the extent of mental health issues among our students
Discuss how cultural backgrounds play a role in mental health
Respond more effectively to students with mental health issues
Describe how resources at MC and beyond can help our students and ourselves

Target Audience: All MC employees
